As she stumbled along, the twigs snapping under the weight of each step. Her ears pinned back against her head as she walked a lone. She could smell the scent of the other wolves she'd been following but with the wind whipping through her fur and face it burned her nose. Ever breath aching in her throat. But she kept walking, carlessly moving through the puddles of the marsh. She sighs and then sits down, glancing up at the sky she lefts her head all the way to let out a weakened howl. She then suddenly regretted it, hoping no one had heard. But somewhere deep inside her also hoped someone had. She sighs and lays her head down on her paws. For once in a while she felt alone. She sighs wrapping her tail around herself and slowly drifting in and out of contiousness.

Sol had been watching the female for a while. The way she moved reminded him of a wolf he knew long ago. That made him want to slip into the past, but he held steady, staying the in present. His body crept along, always sticking to the tree line. His ears twitched with the sound of the howl reminiscing about, expressing the female’s spirit.
His front paws pulled him forward as he watched the female. He shook off the tried feeling, lack of sleep could do that to a wolf. His body scraped the marshy land, soaking his fur. His mind dwelled on the fact he truly did not want to just disappear again. He pulled himself to his feet. He was on the left side of the female as he approached.
He held his tail lower to the ground then one would expect. His ears shot forward and his head lazing on his neck. His chocolate brown eyes watched the female. He had been studying her for a while, but up close it was a totally different experience. The wolf now slept, but it wasn’t sound fully. He grunted as he approached, his feet stopping about three yards from the female, as not to startle her.

She was in a daze like state but when the noises didn't stop she knew something was up. Lifting her head and looking around she was quik to spot the other wolf. She stands up, her body shaking a little with the fastness of it. She coulden't quite catch herself, but she managed. Once she got her sight strait she focused on him. He was taller than her which was what first made her a little fear full. But it wasn't completly that. She was worried about why he had come, of course she had howled but she figured it would just be ignored like usuall. She sighs then just decides to quit thinking about it, she would wait to see what he wanted. Her ears pinned back slightly, her paws didn't want to stay put, as every instinct in her body wanted her to run. But she didn't, she stood what little ground she considered hers.

"Not here to hurt you," Sol said as he watched the female. His eyes scanned the horizon, checking for any other wolves to appear. "Why do you come here, even these lands are dangerous," He said as he turned his attention back to the female before him. Especially these lands are dangerous, he thought he should have said, but didn't.
He truly didn't mean to make the female scared, but he could tell now his attempts were futile. He shook his head, attempting to clear the thoughts that had cluttered up. Sitting down he waited for her replies.

She was slightly curious now about this male. "What do you meen?" She didn't truley know anything about the lands, but she was begining to feel a little more safer. She wasn't sure if she should trust him or not, but for now she decided to at least try. She layed down a little, still keeping her eyes on him she was still a little dizzy. But she didn't take her eyes off him once. She wasn't willing to take that chance, she was used to having a pack and since now she didn't have one she felt completly defensiless. Her fur blowing around slightly in the breeze. She as well was feeling a bit cold. She sighs and just keeps her head low, watching him. She never knew who to trust anymore.

“The marsh, it is quite dangerous, especially for females,” He said softly, his eyes sliced over to the tree line, noting the soft shiver among the trees. They acted as if they feared for the wolves, that of which Sol was not a fan of. He drew in a quick breath and turned back toward Cali. His eyes looked the female over slightly, then back up away from her. “You look frightened,” He said gently, but never looking back at her.

Cali was frightned now. Though she didn't want to show the fear she didn't want to be here a lone anymore. "I'm not, I'm just.. being vigilant" She says standing back up. She still felt a little loopy from loss of sleep, but she ignored it. She looked around her, feeling quite small to the tree's and to him. She didn't like it. She sighs taking a small step forward. Still watching him cautiously. Her fur blowinig in different ways, her ears twitching to the sounds all around her. She was filling with worry now.

"Oh I have no interest harming you," Sol said as he stood up. He looked at Cali and then back at the forest. "Come on," He said as he took off at a trot. He drew in a breathe, deciding what he was going to do. Chances were he would go for a nice hunt. He did feel the growing ache in his stomach from lack of food. He didn't slow to check if Cali was follow him, simply assumed she was.

Cali didn't like the idea much that he just assumed she would follow. She didn't want to, but looking around she was finally beginning to feel surrounded in danger and was quik to run after him. She was right on his heels until she finally slowed a little, still keeping a good pace with him. "Why are you helping me?" She asked curiously. She kept her eyes sweeping over the ground. She had her ears high, listening for any sounds indicating trouble. But so far she heard nothing.

"Would you rather me not," He asked as he turned his right ear toward the female. "I can certainly do that," He offered up as he paused in the dark forest, his nose stuck to the air. "Would you like to see something amazing," He asked as he turned around to look at Cali. His eyes shimmered lightly as the sun caught him correctly. He took a step toward her, breathing in the air that surrounded the two. He shifted as he waited for her response, sighing faintly. "I promise, you have never seen anything like it."

Cali at first had felt a sigh building up. She was glad he was helping her, but she had never anyone who had done something nice without a motive. "Well... what?" She asked when he mentioned about something amazing. Things like that, especially ones with no details, intreaged her. She had taken a step closer towards him, nervously. But if she wanted to ever find out about it, she would have to trust him. Somehow. Her breathing had slowed slightly as she was still a little nervous.
