Whisper stopped when he said that , a low growl rummbled in her throat to and she became tense. Raising her back fur she pricked her ears up and scanned the verizon. How had she not noticed either? She was to distracted....not being use to company and then having some one is distracting.....pusing for a few more seconds she looked back at Conri , she noticed how he looked as if he was about to protect her. Whisper wondered if she would need protecting , if something was indeed watching , did it mean harm? as they entered the forest. The dense underbrush and tree's were hard to see through , and hard to get through , you had to watch your each and every step. They were back at Gawain pack lands. A shiver was sent up her spine , Whisper hated fights , she hated being watched. She was usually the one to watch somone , observe....Shaking her head she fastened her pace. "Are you sure were being watched...?" Whisper questioned and looked at him with worried eye's. It was obvious how worried she was , it was like white on black , clear as a bell. Some of the remaining leaves lay on the ground , once she stepped on them the crisp leaves crunched , making her flinch. She didn't want to be heard. She wanted to go back to being invisible.....

Conri had kept pace with her easily. Stepping over loose sticks, avoiding any crunchy leaves as best he could. Once they had entered the forest he felt a little bit safer. But that feeling vanished when he saw a black pelt flash by up hill a little bit. He growled hating the feeling of being prey. "I'm sure." He stayed close to her until a small, but thick growl came from infront of them. At first all he could see was it's eyes glaring back at him from a bush infront. Then he saw the black paws step out and following was the rest of the male. This male was bigger than him, it stood taller, it was wider and even through it's thick pelt you could see how much greater in muscle it was than him. But he still would protect her. He growled protectivly of her stepping forward in a stalk like movement. Never once taking his eyes of this male. He could tell this wolf had been in fights before as his body was scar covered. He growled fearcly at the strager across from him. He would then wait. ______________________________________________________________________________
His eyes gleamed with amusment when the small grey male stepped forward to guard his female. He as well found his little growl funny. He then lowered his head slightly and growld dangerously. He stepped forward and began moving in a half circle around them. He watched as the small male snapped at him. It was pittiful to watch this mutt that thought it had a chance against him. He then lunged a little, nipping at the males scruff and pawing at it's flank. The male retalliated by turning and biting at his neck causing him to throw the young male. He watched as it landed in a thorny bush. He then looked at the female as he stepped closer to collect his prize. But then he heard a growl, he ignored it though until something it his flank hard. Knocking the air out of his lungs and him to the ground. He snarled and stood up. He had planned on being merciful and sparing the young males life but now he wasn't feeling that same kindness. Now he wondered what was so special about this female to make this male want to protect her. It even sparked his interest. But he would find out. As now he full on lunged at the male, biting at it's scruff and twisting his head pushing the male to it's back and biting hard. It was even drawing blood. But the male was still pawing and biting. Flipping him to his side a little he bit the side of the males face. His tail wagged slightly when he heard the male yelp. But then a paw swiped his face, a claw scraped across his eye he snarled in pain. Not wanting to show it. He continued to bite at the male, only now the side of his neck. Turning the male he threw him slightly. Letting go he stood tall, looking down on the male that was now laying on the ground, trying to get up. His black fur standing on end was now tangled in blood. He growled and looked at the female in way of saying he'd be back. He ran off through the bush he was gone. ~The bottom one is the stranger who's info I am still working on.

Everything had gone by in a flash. And Whisper had felt obligated to stay still , and just watch....To the stranger she realized she was simply a prize , of which to be won. And Whisper all but scoffed at the idea. It was foolish. She was not a prize , nor a trophy to be won. As they were in a brawl , Whisper had whined anxious and stressed , every muscle in her body had been/was tense. Her back fur stood straight up , and her eye's darted between the two of them. And in what seemed like only seconds the Black Brute had been infront of her , thats the only time she did move , she backed up and let out a fierce snarl. Luckily , Conri had gotten back up. Although Whisper would of fought if he hadn't , she knew very well the odds od a Brute against a Fae.....and they were percisley un-even. But now itleast the repulsive male had left , and in his place left Whisper and Conri bewildered. Why in the first place had the male chosen to start a ruck-us , and why them. Once he had been out of side , whisper's eye's flashed to Conri. She looked back to where the brute had dissapeared and then padded up to him , her ears were low and eye's were grateful. If not for him who know's what would of happen to her. The one she would fear most is to of been forced to mate....A shiver always runs up her spine when the thought comes to mind. Her eye's seemed to dance around as she examined his wounds , a sorrowful whimper escaped her...."Are you hurt badly?" Whisper asked , her voice was smooth and steady. Laying down close to him she layed her head on her paw's "Thank you..." Sighing she looked around , almost forgetting where they were going in the first place. Her den was just around the corner basically , it was close. Keeping alert and aware she all the sudden felt child-like , helpless.

He had smiled a little when she layed down next to him. He felt a little bit of pride fill him as he had taken on the male and managed to still be a live and kept Whisper safe. "I'm fine, are you ok?" He asked feeling rather heroic. "And.. no problem.." He mumbled before he began stumbling to get up, but once he got to his feet he managed to keep it that way. His legs were weak and shaky, and his paw felt sore and his scruff ached. He shook out his pelt a little, watching as loose drops of blood fell to the ground. He looked at her then. He wanted to get out of here as it was darkening and he didn't want the male to come back. He looked up at the sky. Sniffing the air and then letting the air blow scents into his mouth and he couldn't taste or smell any dangers anymore. The feeling of being watched was gone, though the feeling that he had just lost a fight was surrounding him a long with his pride glowing inside him. He then glanced back at her, all his senses on fire as he was feeling very alert.

Whisper nodded silently. "I'm fine...perfectly fine." Once he stood up whisper sprang to her feet and padded up next to him. "You sure you can walk?" Whisper questioned him with a hint of doubt in her voice. She was afraid he'd fall over and hurt himself more , anything along those lines. Turning her gaze she stared off into space and pondered whether he could make it to the den or not...."My den's near , not to far. Promise." Whisper stated with a faint smile , she looked torwards her den and trotted slowly , it was indeed getting dark...and no chances were to be made at the moment. Not now. She was more than afraid of what the male wanted from her , she had lived most of her life as a nobody , never being noticed. And now? Now she just didn't know. She knew Conri enough to be herself....a bit bold , and outgoing. But with everyone else she was shy , and secretive....even with Conri she still kind of was. Staying at a slow pace for Conri she kept her head low and steps silent , fear filled her. Yet she made no attempt to show it on the outside. The sky was turning dark and shadow's faded , everything seemed eery...hoping the den was closer than she thought whisper moved forward.

Conri had been filled with joy that she hadn't been hurt. "I'm fine I think." He smiled a little. He was thankful that she was here with him, and that the den was close. The darkening sky only brought danger, and he wasn't sure how much of him trying to be heroic he could take. Though he knew what that male had wanted he would never say it. The thought of it alone made him want to go and rip the male to shreds. But he knew he couldn't, not only because he was hurt but because he couldn't leave her. He kept walking, pushing himself forward. He as well worked hard on not limping. He didn't want to seem weak. He looked at her while he walked. He found focusing on her was an easy way to forget about being injured or having ever fought.

Whisper glanced back at Conri before turning her head to focus on the path. She couldn't get lost , she had gone to her den so many other times , but now since she had so many things to think about it was a hassle to try and focus on one particular thing. Keeping quiet for the rest of the time whisper panted lightly and they padded into a dark area of the woods , hidden amongt the tree's lay her den. Grinning on the inside Whisper looked around , the tree's towered over her den as they always did , it usually blocked out the rain , and it was right under a few boulder's that led into a big underground room. Of course the spring's and everything were somewhat of a distance away whisper didn't mind. Prey was plentiful itleast. Walking torwards her den in long strides she slipped through the entrance and dissapeared from sight. "Come on now." Whisper called from in and looked around her den , immidiate warmth surrounded her from her and she felt like she was at home. A few prey from earlier had been burried somehwere outside the den , so she knew she wouldn't have to hunt for awhile. Maybe we could just stay here till the male gives up , is what she kept thinking. To her it sounded like a good plan. Going over to a corner of her home she curled up in a ball and sighed , it had been a long day. She blinked trying to stay awake as exhaustion took over her , curling her tail around herself whisper layed her head on her paw's and slowly drifted to sleep.

Conri had followed her into the den. Laying down close to her he curled his tail around himself. Not letting much touch him or his paw. The warmth surrounding him felt good though, and it help to relax him. He laid his head down on the ground between his paws and tried to sleep. Though he didn't want to he couldn't help but see the males face. The way he had looked at Whisper. It was unnerving. He sighed and as he worked out thoughts he slowly fell into a light sleep. Stretching out a little in the warmth, he was still on alert, listening for any sounds of an intruder.

The sunlight peeked through the entrance and flowed into the den. Squinting , Whisper's eye's fluttered open. Her energy had been restored and felt just as good as the days before, yawning her pink tounge flicked out , she slowly rose to her feet and stretched her front legs , then back. Whisper loved the mornings , all the birds seemed to be out and singing in harmony , and a new day was to be lived. Smiling to herself she shook her coat and specks of dirt flew to the ground , besides that it seemed to clean and free of knots or matts. Swaying her tail back and forth Whisper felt her stomache churn. She was hungry , so she strided to the entrance and crawled out on her stomache. Stepping into the daylight Whisper breathed in all the fresh new smell's , some snowflakes were falling down , and only a few birds were singing. Most had flown south for the winter. Trotting through the grass her paw's became wet with a mix of snow and dew , and it clung to the pads of her feet. She made soft silent steps as she approched the previous destination of which she had burried her food. Moving quickly she began to dig it up , dirt flew behind her as she worked to get her food. Within a minute or two the tip of it showed through the dirt and Whisper dusked her head in grabbing the left over of a deer , deer was scarce now , so it was something she had been wanting to save and savor. Setting it down on the grass she lifted her ear's up in alert , she had all but forgotten of the male.

Conri had woken after she left. The cold morning air hitting his throat was a bit of a shock. He stretched out his front and then back legs. Yawning and licking his nose a little with his tongue when it flicked. He then looked around. His stomach growled a little but as he went to crawl out he noticed the twinge in his paw. He winced a little a bit of a grumble coming from his throat. But he ignored it. It wasn't till he thought about his paw that he remembered the male and then took note that she was gone. But inhaling deeply through his mouth, tasting the air for scents. Once out the entrance of the den he caught her scent and only hers as far as wolves went. He as well caught a couple snow flakes which made him chuckle a little. He then sniffed the air again this time finding smaller scents of prey. He then caught a scent of rabbit not to far out. He followed it a little, trotting through the wet snowy grass made his paw feel a bit better. He then got to the point he could see it. He went low to the ground, stalking wasn't his main thing. But he was good at thinking things through first. He could tell by the way it was pointed which way it would run so he stalked a different way. Once he was close enough he ran forward chasing it now and once it got to a certain point where it dipped down hill a little he lunged forward; pushing down hard on his hinds and landing infront of the rabbit turning only fast enough to land his fores crushing down on the rabbits flanks and digging his teeth into it's throat in the killing bite. He killed it quikly and then stood, carrying it back to the den. He set it down infront of the den then looked around. Sniffing the air for her scent he wanted to keep her safe. He caught her scent but nothing else. He then layed down infront of the den next to the rabbit, resting his head on his paws he decided he would wait for her. _______________________________________________________
He had been watching her now for a little bit; and it was working well for him till the wind shifted. He sighed and stood; stepping forward and tilting his head a little and then changed his mind. He shook his pelt out a little before running off the other way, not caring that quite a few twigs had been broken beneath his weight as he ran. The snow now coming down a little faster was hitting his face annoyingly. He growled a little and pushed himself harder, making it a good ways away and letting the snow cover his scent. He would make his move later on he decided. Barley even slowing he slid right into a hole at the base of one of the huge tree's. He slid down into the den and then just waited. He listened for sounds of anything following but was quikly bored by that. He then dug his way out a back entrance to the den; once out he shook out his fur a little. Sneezing as one of the little white fuzzy things hit his nose. He wasn't one much for liking leaf-bare. It only meant less food for him as it put most prey into hiding and his coat tended to stick out in the mess of white. He trotted forward keeping his pace quik as he was still starving ecpecially after watching the fae from before eating. He grumbled a little until he found something of intrest to him. It was a fawn, laying down in a small patch of overgrown weeds. From the smell of the air it seemed it mother was gone. He didn't really care where to though. He crouched down low, stalked towards it. But something it seems spooked it. He growled and gave chase once it started running. Only to find it's mother had been close behind it, as was a herd of them. Now he was amongst a running herd of deer. But he still kept his eyes on the fawn. Pushing harder as he ran, he lunged forward biting down on the fawns back; trying to get a good hold of it and drag it down. He had it down and was now trying to get to it's throat while avoiding hooves but it seemed it mom came back, and was hurdling after him. He growled and released the fawn backing up hastily he grumbled watching it limp away. That was the one downside to having to deal with being a loner. He trotted off now feeling the burning glares from the doe on him he felt like he was being stalked and that wasn't a feeling that suited him. He opened his mouth, panting as he trotted, his tongue lalling out as he panted. He then caught the taste of something else. A semi freshly killed rabbit. It wasn't much but it smelled good. He followed the scent till it began mingling with the scent of another wolf, the male from last night. He grumbled and decided he would just wait till the female left her kill and then dig in on that.

Whisper layed down in the cold and began bitting off bits of her rabbit. Chewing the meat in her mouth she swallowed and continued. After a few big bites she stood up and shook her coat of any snowflakes that had fallen on her. There was still some meat on the rabbit , but she doubted it would last her much so she left it and trotted back torward the den. Everythingw as starting to get a bit covered in snow , and the sharp wind felt like a slap in her face. She knew soon everything would be covered in a white blanket. As soon as the den came into view she saw that conri was awake and wagged her tail a little , quickening her pace she stopped a foot away from him "G'morning Conri" Whisper mused and sat her butt down on the grass. The sun was peaking out from the clouds , so a ray of warmth hit her , it felt good next to all the snow falling down. But just as quick as the sun shown through , it got covered back up again by the clouds. Looking up at the sky she stood back up and shook her coat off yet again , it was coming down fast. So she ducked by Conri and wriggled into the den.

Conri had wagged his tail once he saw her and stood quikly. He as well had said a 'Good morning Whisper' to her before she went into the den. After that he shook out his mangled fur a little bit more. The slight rays breaking through every now and then weren't really enough to warm him so he decided he would just warm himself with the fresh kill he'd made earlier. He ducked his head down and dug his teeth into the flesh of the rabbit. Tearing away bits of fur he was soon eating happily. His alert going down, but not much as the wind had changed and he could once more smell the rich odor of the male wolf from last night. Though trying to ignore it as it didn't seem to terribly fresh he continued eating. He didn't eat it all as he wasn't that hungry but once he stopped eating, raising his nose to the wind he found the scent wasn't to terribly old at all. He grumbled a little and dug a quik hole, burrying the remains of his meal and then dipping into the den. He went in and smiled to Whisper. Wagging his tail he was already feeling the warmth from the nice den soaking into his pelt. He smiled taking note of how much better it was from the icy morning wind. It seemed so much nicer than the cold. He then looked back at Whisper. "So whats your plans for today?" He asked her curiously. Not wanting to intrude on her plans, but all the same wanting to keep her away from that male.

Whisper was sitting down in the den , her tounge rolling out. She watched as Conri climbed in and her gaze shifted. Listening to the words she smiled , a broad smile. "Were going to Lanche's Desert , Its always hotter there. So even though its freezing here , it'll be a bit warmer there." Whisper explained and stood up. "We best be going , its a long walk." She said and glided past him. Lanche's Desert was always hot , so in winter it should be warm. Even though its a long way from water , she figured the snow on the ground could supply them. Her light grey coat flopped up and down as she trotted. Stopping just a few feet infront of the den she glanced around. Now which way was it again? Turning right she padded to the East.

He had smiled, following her out quikly, he couldn't help but be amused as she tried to figure out the direction of Lanche's Desert. But he did agree with her greatly as he thought about the heat of the desert. He then followed her East. Watching out for any signs of life, but it seemed not many of the other animals were fond of the cold. He as well sniffed the air, the wind of course had shiffted again leaving his senses hopless. But he coudn't smell anything coming from behind them. He could feel the fur on his back lifting and falling as bits of unmelted ice fell off him. He loved the outdoors, especially around leaf-bare but it was always too cold. He then decided just to focus his thoughts on Whisper. He though of how lucky he had been to meet her, and even more so that she didn't want to try and kill him. He liked having a friend for once. It felt quite nice, and it wasn't till he thought about it that he as well realized that she was quite beautiful. He shook the thought from his head, as he had known she was beautiful for awhile, just never really thought about it, and now that he had he wished he didn't as the annoying little thought wouldn't go away now. He sighed and figured the one thought that would push that one was the male from before, but of course that only made things worse, as he remembered what the male, said and what it had wanted. What it had wanted to do to the beautiful wolf infront of him. He could feel a growl building in his chest but he kept it down, not wanting to scare her or anything... After a while of thinking so many odd thoughts that he felt his head would expload he finally took note on the silence. It was nice as he let that fill his head instead of the blustering thoughts. But as a bear branch out a little ways broke off from one of the tree's and crashed to the ground he couldn't help but jump a little. Looking around until seeing what had caused the noise and noticing it had only been a branch he realized how truley alerted he was. He pinned his ears back, feeling odd for acting so weird and the fur on his back went low. His tail dropped as well as he just continued to follow her.

Whisper looked up torward the sky , it was still snowing. Closing her eye's for a mere second she looked forward. Everything was so pretty , so perfect. Picture perfect. The cold seemed to not bother her at all , each snow flake that fell was different in its onw unique way. The patterns , designs. Simply exqusite. Smiling to herself Whisper's head swung over he should to look at Conri , she got a negative feeling from him at that moment. Frowning her eye brows burrowed , he looked stressed , quickly turning so as to not run into a tree she kept her focus on the directions. Whisper stopped suddenly when she realized you were suppose to turn here....but which way? Shaking her head in confusion she whined. "I'm not good at directions when its covered in snow" Whisper muttered and huffed. Her breath showed in the air but disappeared quickly , her feet began to numb the longer she stood still , and the cold was becoming more noticable. Turning to look at conri she noticed he was all of a sudden alert and his ears pined back. "You ok?" Whisper asked and tensed up , her eye's zipped past him to look around. And she became just as alert.

He had felt bad for startling her. "It's ok.. just a branch. I think it's this way." He said tipping his head towards one of the turns. He has smiled a little, trying to not only calm himself down but her too. He wagged his tail a little, his ears just flopping around like normal now. He nuzzled her neck a little; noticing she was cold, he then smiled and looked around, it was quite beautiful out here, everything. The wind shifting constantly as well helped only to let him know the male was no where around. But only made it colder.

Whisper let in an unsteady sigh of relief , letting Conri lead she tried to calm herself down but it wasn't working. She closed her eye's and breathed in and out. She was nervous now , what if the male did come? Whisper sighed and opened her eye's glancing around , she jumped when Conri nuzzled her neck. "Sorry , Just a little Jumpy...." Whisper muttered and shook away the shock and thoughts. But his picture kept popping back in her mind. The way he looked at her , it was revolting , eery. Something she wished to encounter ever again. In her life. Looking at Conri she felt as if she was a big NO sign for him. If he was around her , he would get hurt by the male. And whisper didn't want that to happen not at all. Staring at her paws an Idea , plan , was forming.
